My name is Francisco, I'm the founder of WesternVision, the Eurovision Song Contest dedicated blog where you're reading this post. I've had the idea to start a blog for a very long time, but I really never knew what it could be about... Until I became a big Eurovision fan, and that's when I started thinking that I could create a blog where I could freely give my opinion on the songs that take part in the contest and also the National Finals, and other ESC related content. About me, just to sum up, I'm portuguese and 19 years old, I started to watch Eurovision in 2017 (not a long time ago) and funnily enough it wasn't really because of Salvador Sobral's hype. It started when I watched Festival da Canção in 2017, and by curiosity I went to check the other countries' songs, and I watched Occidentali's Karma performed by Francesco Gabbani, and I instatly became addicted to it! After that I just kept searching for the other countries's songs and I became amazed by the overall quality of the songs in comparation to those that we hear on the radio over and over these days. Besides that, it's very entertaining to watch the performances on the big stage. And that's it about me :)
