The last songs presented where mostly internally selected, and Azerbaijan is no different, as usual. They chose Chingiz as their banner-carrier, and he will be singing "Truth" at the Eurovision stage in Tel Aviv. Of course, we are reviewing it!

Modern and very contemporary entry from Azerbaijan! Delivered with some great vocals by Chingiz and a very interesting music video, as well as a good promotion job from Azerbaijan's broadcaster, this has all the ingredients to aspire to a Top 10 finish at Eurovision. It's not the best song in the contest, but it's quite different from the rest of the pop songs that are in this year's contest, and if they manage to get the staging right, this will probably be one to watch out for! I'm really looking forward to see this at the semi-final! I'm giving it an 8,5 out of 10!

To me, it looks a lot like the type of song that you hear on a fashion parade or clothes shop. It's comercial, it's pleasant to hear, but it's so similar to so many songs that usually play in radio stations. I don't even know what they can do on stage with this. Unfortunately, I don't know what else to say about this song, because it's not really my cup of tea. I'll still give it a 7 out of 10!

I have to confess I hadn’t listen to this song before I wrote this yet (this year I’ve been such a miserable eurofan), but wow! From the beginning, this is a catchy song and it’s interesting how azeri entries may have such rhythms more linked to pop and modern songs, but at same they don’t let their roots and own traditional rhythms apart, even though they are only present in some parts of the song. In my opinion, that this song can qualify and reach a good place in the final if correctly perfomed and with a good staging. I’ll give it a 7 out of 10.
