REACTING TO SAN MARINO'S ENTRY

San Marino, once again, chose its entry for Eurovision through internal selection, and they are bringing back Serhat, who represented them in 2016 where even though he didn't get to the final he still managed to get the small state their best score in the recent years! He's back this time in Tel Aviv with "Say Na Na Na" and we are reviewing it!
Hope you enjoy!

Enjoyable, danceable and vintage are the best words that describe the disco song Serhat is presenting us! Even though at times some people might find it ridiculous or even old dated, I have to disagree because San Marino really worked well this time at Eurovision, and they have to be praised for that! I do find Serhat very charismatic and he surely has an unique voice. I think that being the last act of his semi-final will give this a higher chance at qualifying for the final, because it's not that certain that San Marino will be there, but I think it's very likely that this can just slip in, or even get a decent result at the semi. It's not a winner song, but a very decent breath of fresh air in this year's contest, and for that I'll give it an 8 out of 10!

SCORE: 8/10

I L-O-V-E IT! It has the same feeling as 70/80's music and I'm totally loving the vibe! I hope that they get very creative when it comes to staging, instead of just being cringy and completely forgettable, because San Marino really deserves the final this time. If you want to turn San Marino into a meme, at least this time it's with a good song! I'm giving it a 9 out of 10!

Serhat is back and as we know San Marino doesn’t usually get good results in Eurovision. To be honest, I like this song and think this is kinda underrated. Yeah, it’s San Marino, but it’s not because of that that the country should be automatically devalued, regardless of the song they send to ESC. In my opinion, of course that there’s not here a winner material, but if the results depended on me, this song would have a seat on the grand final. Of course the lyrics are not the best ever or even very poetic, but they deserve to be finalists for the second time and I hope it happens this year. For me, also in comparison to some songs from this year, this one is better. In a nutshell, the song is catchy and nice and the beat stucks in my head. I’ll give it an 8 out of 10.

SCORE: 8/10
