REACTING TO BELGIUM'S ENTRY
We already knew who was going to be Belgium's banner carrier at Tel Aviv this year, but we didn't know his song. Now we know! Eliot will be singing "Wake Up" at the Eurovision stage this year and we are reviewing it!
Hope you enjoy!

This is one of this year's songs that left me enthusiasmed. Even though it has some flaws, like lacking a bit of power, this is one of those songs that immediatly get into your head. From the first listen I can find me singing the chorus multiple times during the day. It's a contemporary sounding track, with good production, lacks a bit in the chorus, but nothing it's flawless, and when this gets like this in your head, it's a minor setback. Overall, it's a really well produced song, and I think people will recognize that, and if Belgium can make a good show, and not flop on stage like last year, I think this can do really well. At the moment we haven't seen how Eliot sounds live, but if it all goes according to plan, this will certainly finish in a top place at Tel Aviv. My rating here is a 9 out of 10! Good Luck to Belgium!
SCORE: 9/10

At the beginning, the song sounds a bit boring, and the chorus is unexpected. However, the chorus doesn't fit the the rest of the song, it seems like they did a bad mashup from two different songs. Despite that, there is a good message, he has a nice voice, and I'm really curious to see that performance, so after all I still find it capable to leave me enthusiasmed, so I'm giving it an 8 out of 10.
SCORE: 8/10

Similarly to the last year, I think Belgium has a great song, but they need to be very cautious and not let their entry end as A Matter of Time ended last year when the rehearsals came up. I risk to say that this could be easily top-10 material, that’s why I feel that Belgium comitive, but mainly the singer should avoid what happened. In vocal terms, I think Eliot can sing and he can take advantage of the fact that the style of this song is a bit different, but in a positive way. Personally, I think the chorus gets stuck in our heads – at least it happened to me during several days. I’ll give it a 8,5/10.
